Racing the TruSpeed Security National Mortgage Avasis Porsche GT3 Cup car at Circuit of the Americas, Sloan Urry showed the field what total commitment and determination can do. Sloan put his innate talent and superb car control on display in Texas for all to see as he set the fastest time on qualifying for the first race of the 2016 Pirelli World Challenge GT Cup Championship.

In the race, Sloan led until a back-marker blocked him, opening the door for two car to pass. Sloan was able to fight his way back into second place just before the checkered flag and leads the points standing going into the second race on Sunday, where he will start from the pole.
